Josh Lowenthal Secures Huntington Beach Police Officer Association Endorsement

SEAL BEACH, Calif. — The Huntington Beach Police Officer Association join a growing list of public safety groups siding with business owner Josh Lowenthal in the race for 72nd Assembly District.
“Huntington Beach Police officers support Josh Lowenthal because we can trust him to be our partner in tackling the tough issues in our community like the rise in violent crime, government dysfunction and partisan politics” said Association President Yasha Nikitin. “Josh has a track record of bringing people together and staying above the petty partisan politics. We need Josh Lowenthal fighting for us in the State Assembly” he continued.
The 72nd district, which encompasses Seal Beach, Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, Westminster, Garden Grove, Santa Ana, Rossmoor, and Los Alamitos (among other cities) voted for Clinton by nearly 10 points in 2016 and has been hemorrhaging Republican registration over the last several years. Polling in the district shows the Democratic Assembly candidate leading a generic Republican by 11 percentage points.
